boy 2: 790 g
girl 1: 710 g
girl 2: 760 g

Pictures from May 6/7, 2012. Sunshine's babies are now already 12 days old. Sunshine is still a fantastic mommy. Yesterday, today and tomorrow there is the 1st worming. The eyes are already opening a little bit and slowly there is more action in the whelping box.

Babyboy number 2 is just fun, he weighs 1170 g, has his eyes fully open since May 5 and can already stand - truly on 4 legs, still a bit wobbly but he can stand. He is ahead of the development of his siblings.

The weights:
boy 1 = 1030 g
boy 2 = 1170 g
girl 1 = 1020 g
girl 2 = on May 6: 1190 g, on May 7: 1248 g

Since Saturday (May 12) the puppies now get beef tartar and have immediately discovered how tasty meat is. The litter box was surrounded with a play ground so that they can now slowly explore the world.

Yes, after such a meal of beef tartar it also works out with the common photos. The pictures are from May 14/15, 2012.

The girls are also saturated and willing to pose for a photo together

May 26, 2012: Again a great sunny weekend with everyone having the day off.

Friday: Mani and pedicure for the little ones.
Saturday: Discovery trip to the terrace - great to be out in the open air, get to know the cats, feel the grass and gain many new impressions. The food also tastes better outside. After a marching band passed by our home, we thought of it as "music to fall asleep" and slept soundly.
Sunday was then a real day to relax, since we are now already "outdoor professionals". The day went according to the following pattern: eat, play and sleep.

We put our mischief on full display - biting feet and legs, destroying shoes, annoying our mom, and stealing Deryn's smartphone case. So learned important things like biting feet and legs causes pointed screams and misunderstanding from those bitten. Destroying shoes is not so easy and just takes too long. We quickly got bored with this and postponed it to a later date.

Annoying mother is great, but she has stamina. Nothing is too much for her and she plays fantastically with us. She also watches out for us and gets us all together when we are too far away. She also warned us that stealing the smartphone case was probably not such a good idea. However, Deryn shouldn't have left it on the lawn just because she wanted to take pictures. But don't worry, the bag is alive and so are we.

A day open air is great, the nights in the warm room are just unbeatable. So well, then came Monday and we were already weighed again, have now between 2800 g and 3100 g, all are satisfied with the weights. However, we were not satisfied, because we got again such a nasty worm cure. This is already the third and certainly not the last, but we were told that this will be less when we grow older. So snout open and licked, can't take so long growing older.

June 6, 2012: News from our Border kids.

Yes, now the babies are already 8 weeks old and, yes there were no photos for a while. We now have a Collie litter too and the little ones also need our full attention as well

The Border kids are absolutely great. Around the 8th week there is a lot to do: Vaccination on 18.06. Eye examination on 19.06 and then control of the litter on 20.06. Oh they did everything great and the results of the eye examination were also fine.

Carola Lampe, who always had a Rough Collies with her family, wanted a Border Collie so much after 4 months of abstinence from dogs. They were here very often to see the development of the "kids". They have supported us a lot and we are very grateful. - Little Sunny (Rosegarden Always My Sunnyboy) too, because he already knew his people very well. Since today he is rehearsing the rebellion in the Lampe residence. Thank you Carola and Klaus for all the time with us and the puppies in so many stores and different places. All the luck in the world with Sunny!

Little Rosi (Rosegarden African Summer) will be moving in with the Kammacher family on Friday. Family Kammacher had a Border Mix before and Lotta passed away at the age of 15. Of course nothing is possible without a dog. The children have not had to experience life without a dog and are already very excited.

Yes and then now after almost 8 weeks of consideration the little Rosegarden Amigo Mojito moves in with Deryn. Deryn wants to show and of course do agility as she does with Sunshine. It was really a hard decision, actually she would like to keep both

as our Rosegarden Absinth Sunset is doing really well.

I would also like to mention that these 8 weeks have been nothing but a time of happiness for us, we have enjoyed every day - as well as the excursions have been a pure joy. We had no negative comments, all people were fond of the puppies and even that Deryn pushed the bags off the shelves in the stores, so the babies could hear the sounds, was ok for the people. Really good.
